The big Flash debate
Few technologies on the internet divide opinion quite like Flash. To some it is slow, buggy and a bad option for getting the best search engine results.
Advocates maintain that it offers a rich, visual user environment that is just not achievable using other technologies.
As with all debates there is some truth to either side. The real question is: "Is using Flash the best option for the users of your particular site?"
At EvolutionWeb we love Flash. It can really make a website sing. However we recognise that it must only be used where appropriate and must be 'fit for purpose'. If you really wanted an Apple-style 'Cover Flow' display of your images, for example, then Flash can provide a solution.
